Can you hack a Seagate Hard Drive for Xbox 360?
I have a 7200.10 Seagate hard drive removed from a HP Personal Media Drive. And I formated it to “FAT32″ and it will not recognize it when I plug in the SATA Drive, do you know why? Im not sure if the drive is even powering up? Please help! Thanks 10 Points! Or how i can get it to work? And it does work when plugged in with power cord and usb to the usb port on xbox but only can use 16 gb:(
Hddhackr will only work with the following Western Digital Drives:
- WD Scorpio Series BEVS/BEAS
- WD Scorpio Blue Series BEVS/BEVT/BPVT
- WD Scorpio Black Series BEKT/BJKT
- WD VelociRaptor Series
- WD AV-25 Series BUDT
Unless some enterprising coder comes out with another program, that Hddhackr is the only option for making your own Xbox hard drive. Microsoft doesn’t allow DIY upgrades like Sony does with the PS3.
