How to install a non-microsoft hard drive into a new xbox 360 slim 4GB version. If you didn’t want to spend an extra 100 dollars for the 250gb xbox you can do this have for around 35-40 dollars. The drive I used was a western digital scorpio blue, 250GB. If you want to do this hack you have to use a western digital scorpio blue drive. I’ve leanred that you can actually go up to a 500GB drive but I don’t see why anyone would need that much storage. If you have any questions feel free to ask. It worked but i did get stuck at ‘ATA drive not present screen’, had to go to BIOS to tell the pc to read the Sata drive as a ATA and HDDHACKR worked from there.. simple process.. thanks!

@topwebz No point using 500 gigs, the flashing of the drive will only make 250 of that usuable, the other 250 is wasted.

Does anyone know how I can find the backup for a WD2500BEVT? I accidentally deleted my backup so if anyone has or knows where I can acquire the backup it would make my day.
@TutorialPerfection No. This is just a HDD. If you mod the motherboard or use any CFW or dongle to pirate or cheat in games, then you’ll get banned. I have a CFW PS3 and I never got banned. It’s all about being inconspicuous.
