Should I get a Computer or Xbox 360?

If i were to get an Xbox 360, I’d most likely get it modded.
(Price: $269.99 60GB console, + $40.00 Mod, + $30.00 Cooler, + $49.99 Extra Remote) Total: $390.00 + $50.70 Tax = $440.70
Or should I just get a computer. What would you think would be good for the long run?
I would get a computer: more versatility, internet access, pc gaming, blah blah blah…
If you decide to get a 360, don’t bother getting a cooler- It does more harm than good.
Also, where do you live that charges 13% sales tax? That’s awful.
