Xbox 360 Firmware Hack

Want to update XBOX 360 HDD to 120GB….BIG Problem?

Hey guys,

Right the trouble is, is that i do not want to buy a brand spanking new 120GB HDD as its about 30% more expensive than a regular 120GB HDD, so i have been looking into some firmware hacks/exploits and seemed that this was the best option, now the most commonly used tool is HDD Hacker but it is only compatible with the WD BEVS Edition HDD, the HDD that came with mine is a FUJITSU MHW2020BH, and the only 120GB i currently already own is a HITACHI HTS541612J9SA00, so what am i to do, is there a way to edit the sectors on the HDD or anyway to patch the firmware to something that the 360 will read?

Forgot to mention that i have managed to make the HITACHI into a FATX file system and Xplorer360 detects it as an XBOX 360 HDD, but the XBOX 360 does not :S

Word of caution, any HACK or MOD opens the possibility that your XBOX and gamertag will be permanently banned.

Also, my guess is the the new 250 GB HDD is a hint of cheaper HDD this holiday season; I would anticipate a dramatic price decrease in mid November.
