How to Get XBOX 360 Rapid Fire MOD for new Controller To Work?

My controller is brand new, just bought my system a month ago, obvs it’s wireless. This is the tutorial i have been using. http://www.consolecustoms.net/auction/tutorials/360_dual_rapid_tutorial_new_8pin.pdf It has been working supposedly for others but not for me, does anyone know of a better place to look with the same sort of schematic it appears to me the labeling of the 555chip is inaccurate.
you need the old matrix style board not the new CG it is possible to do it on a new board, but i am unfamiliar with those.
