What does modding a xbox 360 controller do?

I know that modding the 360 can play burn games and stuff but i just heard of modding the controller? What does modding the controller do?

modding the controller basically makes the firing like youre tapping the fire button for each bullet at the fastest rate possible, on a game like halo 3 it makes guns really accurate, like the machine gun turet doesnt recoil and needleers fly in one straight path instead of spreading everywhere. on a game like CoD, it makes pistols really really lethal, you can empty a clip in about a second with insane accuracy.
all it does is fire the guns at the fastest trigger fire rate it can any emi auto weapon is basically turned into a machine gun, if it doesnt make sense heres a youtube video that explains it really well:
