**Update** I was informed that Datel took off the saves for the mechasault save exploit. @AlienFirefox well plugging it into your pc is a bit harder. You need to do a hotswap, and then you must run this special version of linux that copies over modded files. Honestly it’s mostly for just upgraded hard drives, but i think you can softmod with it?

@AlienFirefox oh…one of those things…yeah that wouldn’t work with the modified operating system. you need to literally hotswap with the ide cables.

ok hopefully someone has an idea, i just recently brought out my old xbox again and its already chipped but i can’t get to the modded menu, it always goes to the regular menu, and i think i gotta press like a code or sumthing with the controller, i just can’t remember. So i therefore can’t get to all the games i’ve saved to the xbox. help??

@matt30392 usually there’s a switch someone put into it in the side, which allows you to go online. other than that, try turning it on with the disk ejection button, instead of the power button. That’s a method of dual booting, although it’s more common for that to be practiced in a softmod instead of a hardmod

@Trainguyxx I got this xbox from my brother, it’s soft modded but whoever did it… did a half-ass job.
Is there anyway to get it right?
Now, Im playing it but some games lag and stutter and it’s quite inconvenient.
Just wanted to know if there is any way to fix it or update it right.
The selection of games are so garbage.
Also! The menus and stuff is all incoherent, i.e. controller mapping and etc..

@Trainguyxx I have a modded Xbox with emulators and all but recently i have encountered a problem. When i turn it on the sound can be heard but it only shows a black screen with minor static and no its not the cables. Its something internal in the xbox. Please help??

i just got a mod xbox and i cant figure out how to start up the mod and old games the original xbox menu still comes up but the files are there for the nes and genises games but i cant get to em ….someone please help

@sycosnot you place the saves in the program files of the action repay program (in the directory were the saves are, for mechassault). after that, if you had placed it in the right spot, it should show up in the mechassault saves section
