XBOX 360 Drive does not load games =(?
My 360 suddenly stopped loading 360 games. whenever i put a game in it says open tray. The warranty was out so i got a new drive and try to replace the chip from my old drive to the new drive but while taking out the old chip i broke one of the ribbon slots so now i cannot connect the old chip into the new drive. Is there a way of connecting the new drive to the 360 without the old chip from the old drive? the ebay seller did say that i will have to flash the drive in order to play games. does this mean i will have to flash the drive with a hacked firmware?
you need to buy a new drive and then use firmware to get the 360 to read the drive. it is very difficult to do, but im going to find a link that may help you out. i will update my answer in a couple minuets.
