Can I Color Mod My Xbox 360 Console Without Voiding My Warranty?

I called the xbox costomer support and asked, but the guy didnt seem like he knew what i was talking about. I want to color it with a permanent marker… a sharpie. Is this ok?

    i colored in the bottom section of my hair with a permanent marker last nihgt. It looked so awesome. i washed it out though :(
